Our actual stay was in April 2012. We used the campground again, for a stop over on our way down to Gettysburg PA. Again, great stopping point nice campground, good staff. Thanks for a great night!

Wilderness Lake CG has been a stopping point for us now on three occasions. While heading south to Washington DC this campground has been strategically placed, it seems, for us. Polite and freindly staff, clean and picturesque campground. Store equipped with more than just the basics. Easy on and off RT 84 (with out the road noise) makes this a nice over-night or weekend stop. Not sure of area attractions. Food, fuel are near-by. RV'ers looking for a place to rest your head for a night or weekend will do well here! Eric

For $45 the sites are overpriced. You would think they would be right on the water but instead they have tent sites between u and the water line. Nice, small campground otherwise

Freindly courteous staff, owner goes out of his way to please. Super clean Restrooms & showers. Campground well maintained. Beautiful Lake, catch & realease bass fishing. Very Freindly Seasonals. Reason I would go back. Nice quite Campground, fridays & Saturdays everyone like to laugh a little loud by the campfire but this we enjoyed the most. I cannot say enough how freindly everyone was here! Original site we had for our 38' trailer was to small so owner met us directly and changed our site immediately.I cannot say enough good things about things about this place. Go an see, you will be pleased.

Stayed here seasonal for summer of 2006 on recomendation of friends. Situated on lake, nice beach, free use of boats. Owner goes out the way to make your stay pleasant. Water problems corrected with installation of new filter system. Wonderful place to relax and get away from it all. Hiking trails, game room, playground, mini golf and volleyball courts. Would recommend it to anyone.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The restrooms are clean. Nice lake. If you buy wood (11 logs for $4) they deliver it to your site and stack it for you. Our site was fine but some sites were very confusing as to where your RV was suppose to be and pull-thru sites that looked like they were originally one site are now two. The dirt roads had ruts in them. They have a problem with their water that they never mentioned and we didn't get a straight answer about it when we asked. The water is fairly clear until it is heated and then it looks like rust.
