1). Staff is unfriendly and just plain RUDE. 2). location is too close to the main road, lots of traffic noise. 3). Cramped / Small Sites. Sometimes I can overlook #2 & #3 when there is a nice friendly staff.. but with this place, look somewhere else to stay. especially if you have children.

This is my 5th stay in as many years at this KOA. We use this as an escape from the Phoenix area heat. We stay for 2 weeks. We have a 30' travel trailer and had many 40+ footers as neighbors. This is a park with many trees and you have to swing right to turn left 'so to speak". If you cannot drive your rig very well might have some difficulty. We love this KOA and is 20 to 40 degrees cooler depending on the rain from Phoenix and is only 3 hrs away.

Agree with others of tight spaces, but was centrally located to all tourist areas and was very clean. Easy on and off interstate. Was really noisy and crowded with a church group and no control from owners with these kids over taking the bathrooms. No swiming pool and pool they recommend is only open limited hours for open swim.

Would not recommend this KOA. I have a 35' fifth wheel and our friends a 30' travel trailer. Reservation people assured us we could camp next to our friends. This was also confirmed the morning before we arrived. You guessed it, they had us no where near our friends and on top of that they had me down for a tent trailer!! this was after I made reservations a month in advance and went over everything with them the morning before we arrived. Even if the reservations had not been messed up, this is not a good place if you have a larger rig. Like the other review said, the spaces are packed in tight. We could not open our awning because it would have hit our neighbor. You can see scuff marks on the trees where people have hit them. I will not go back and have found Woody Mountain campground on the other side of Flagstaff to be much nicer.

The people were nice and professional, but the sites were jam-packed against each other and the trees beside the very narrow roads had scuff marks on them from being scraped by folks going in. Don't go there with anything over a 25 ft. trailer or a small motorhome.
