No hookups, but a very nice view. Very good price. Lots of wind in the afternoon.

I gave this a 2 when 3 is average for a state park for me. Why? Well, there is no shade, no shower and no hookups. Other than that, it's fine. The reservoir is pretty but the wind can be very high coming west across the lake. We love the area though. The campgrond is just west of Cody. Be sure to see the Reservoir Visitors Center, Old Trail Town, Buffalo Bill Museum (entire day, rv parking available), rodeos and a drive on Chief Joseph Byway through the Beartooth Mtn and more.

The North Shore Bay Campground is the best one in the Buffalo Bill state park. Beautiful views of the lake and very peaceful. All sites have tables and grills and are close to water and bathrooms. There are no utility hookups or showers at any of the campgrounds in the park. The rates are really good, like $6 if you are a resident and $12 if you are not, including park entrance.
