If being connected to the internet is very important, you may not want to stay here. The wireless is horrible. Very slow. The backup is a modem port in the store, available only when the store is open. On the other hand, if you don't need the internet, and want to be in the trees with all the comforts of home, this is a great place. The trees make it very nice and shady. Spaces are wide, and they have some "super sites" with extra rooom. Very quiet.

Very easy to get in, roads very well marked out. Plenty of mature trees, and lots of Blackberry bushes nearby. The owner and the girl that works in the office were very friendly. The restrooms and spa were clean, garbage was picked up, and roads were in a fairly good condition. However, the laundry room left just a little to be desired. There is a small museum in town. There are whale watching tours available from the dock. You can take a ferry out to several nearby islands. Deception Pass State Park is not too far away. In the nearby city of Anacortes is a little restaurant at the water's edge called Randy's Pier 61. Wow, absolutely fantastic food! Don't miss this one. Excellent local seafood as well as meat dishes for you landlubbers out there. The night hostess/manager, Ethel, is just a delight. Does a great job.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees. Staff was friendly and helpful. Give the "supersites" a try, you get a lot more space and privacy with huge trees. It was worth the extra money for us, we liked the private cabana and propane BBQ grill. High speed internet and 62 channel cable TV is available at all of the sites.
