Awesome older park. The location was perfect being close to Sedona and Jerome.. we were able to see everything in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites all have full hookups and are clean and most have shade trees.

Quaint park of Old Towne Cottonwood with Large Old Growth Shade Trees on the Verde River. Staff is helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. Hiking trails from the park great for walking our dog and offer beautiful views. Sedona and Jerome are only 15 minutes away with much to see and do. The park has a friendly community atmosphere and is well maintained.

Park would be considered part of Old Towne Cottonwood as it is 50 years old. Many old growth shade trees, along the Verde River. There is even an Indian Ruin on site and it also borders the Coconino National Forest. Staff work diligently to make the Park Clean and Pleasant. They are also very knowledgeable about the area, offering ideas for attractions and recreation opportunities. Halfway between Historic Jerome and Sedona, the location is perfect to take advantage of all the Verde Valley has to offer. Economical and Enjoyable stay. This is now our RV Park for Northern Arizona Trips!

We stayed there for a month in the winter. There is shade for many sites, including some sites on the river bank. At the time the restrooms were very small, very clean. Laundry facilities clean but not many units. We also love the area and have spent time in the winter in the area since 1995. Would not hesitate to stay at Rio Verde again.
