This is a clean, well maintained state park that sits on a 150-acre lake built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's. There are 74 water/electric utility campsites and 425 primitive campsites, two boat ramps, two bathhouses, and a swimming beach. The camp sites are spacious, not stacked one on top of the other, which allows you some privacy. The RV sites have concrete pads, picnic table, fire ring or grill. Most sites offer at least partial shade. Restrooms and shower houses were clean. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful.
