Had made resevation 3 weeks before our arrival, 2 days before we get there I get a call that now all 50 amp spots are rented, offered me a 30 amp spot, said that deposits are required to hold spots, then why would they take my credit card number? sorry but my camper is 50, now 2 days to try and find somewhere to go... Thanks Ed Allen

Had a great stay with our family. We could tell it was a family operation, which made us feel right at home. Big beautiful trees, lots of wildlife (saw a Bald Eagle), great fishing and close to Williamsburg.

Our family stayed here when I was a kid and loved it so, when my husband and I bought a new motor home, this was our first stop. The staff was nice and the site was clean and shady, but there was absolutely nothing to do. None of the games in the game room worked. The bath house door opened right into the game room/office - no privacy! The camp store was extrememly limited. When my husband tried to purchase a Sunday paper he was told the paper delivery person had died several years ago and had not been replaced. But, if you want a park to yourself, this is the place to go. We saw maybe 4 people during the entire weekend. It may have improved since our visit, but we had a terrible time.

Great place, very family oriented. Huge sites, with large trees. In the country, you can really see the stars at night. Fishing, swimming, and even a restaurant on site. Short drive to Williamsburg, our kids loved it.

Very well shaded sites. Very friendly staff. Great fishing. Only problems for us tent campers were the LONG walks to the bathroom and frequent sounds of the very near trains.
