(Actual date of stay was April 2012)***DO NOT GO TO THIS CAMPGROUD!!!*** Wish I had read the reviews prior to our trip. Lots are extremely small and was very difficult cramping our 40 ft 5th wheel into the site. Our site was under water and infested with mosquitos. All dirt/pine needles ... no grass ANYWHERE!! They really need to upgrade this place, bad!! ABSOLUTELY nothing for kids to do, but the pool. When we were there, the water was just too cold. Playground is old and not safe. KEEP DRIVING!! DO NOT STOP HERE!!

Lots of traffic from villas in back speeding through campground. Sites flooded when it rains-and it rains alot here. Not much for children to do other than the pool. Mostly dirt sites with lots of pine needles and sap. Unfortunately, there are very few campgrounds in the area.

Sites were small; campgrounds needed to be groomed/tided up. Dispite the name being "Savannah" KOA, the campground is a good 20-25 minutes away! If you were just staying over-night, would be ok, but, not if you plan on seeing the sites of Savannah.

Good enough for a overnight, the staff is friendly, the showers and rest rooms were clean. The downside is small sites close to the park roads.

Very small sites, the ones by the lake were much nicer. Stay out of the back part, full of live in's. Watch your kids, the live in's fly through the park. The staff was nice and helpfull. I would stay for an overnight stop but not for a week like we did. It seemed clean but the pool was closed at the time we went.

I would call this barely ok as an overnight stop (which is what we did) . The grounds were unkept,a lot of semi-permanent campers, cats running everywhere . We were in a pull-thru site and the hook ups were so far away we couldn't use the sewer hookup, had to use the dump station on our way out.We won't be stopping here again.

We stayed at the KOA Savannah and would not reccomend staying there. The campsites are very small, the do not allow fires since they don't have fire rings, there is a pond next to the campground that is covered with green slime and breeds mosquitos. Also there is a small flock of ducks that are tame that stay there that are the UGLIEST ducks you'll ever see. They have what looks like a large growth coming off of their beaks. On the up side, the campground showers/bathrooms/laundry room were clean. The office has lots of information on Savannah and the staff is friendly. The next time we went to Savannah we stayed at Ft. McAlister state park and had a good time. Very nice park, clean restrooms and they had fire rings.
