Great campground with very large pull throgh sites. Loved the Thanksgiving in the park. Very nice owners, and very good cooks too! Nice play area for the kids. Decent fishing and very nice walking trail to the creek. We will be back!

No warm welcome at all. Owner was very rude and not accommodating at all. We called two days in advance to make a reservation and made a reservation with the owner; however, when we arrived, they did not have our reservation! Fortunately, there were spots available. The campground amenities were nice but due to how we were treated, we will not be returning.

Most definitely would stay here again. Owner/operators Susan and Jim sincerely wanted to be of service-- went out of their way to do so. As stated in another review, long-term RVers have the tree-shaded part of this park but the variety of open sites (October) were extra spacious. Bath-house bright and fresh but limited showers. Great indoor meeting room w. spare-time equipment, tv, etc. Won't be a discomfort for most but the store still being stocked w. typical items. The charm of this peaceful property comes from the open meadows, the lakes and the hiking trail thru woods. Conversely, those wanting some night-life-- easy trip into Columbia. A great place!

Not much shade for weekender's. The shady spots all have permanent campers set up on them. Mosquito's are horrendouos due to the close proximaty of the North Edisto River /swamp. Also those fishing ponds are pretty small.... Not worth the money he charges per night!
