100 sites; 10 with full hookup, 80 with electric only, and 10 camping cabins. Laundry, showers, restrooms, public phones, small camp store with limited supples. Firewood. Fire rings at each site. You must have a park sticker to get in, however they do send you one included with your reservations. Also, any visitors must have a park sticker, plus more than one visitor car to a site has to pay for parking. Beautiful campground. Lots of trees and a nice view of the lake. The employees were friendly and helpful. All faciilities that I saw were kept clean. There are a number of really nice restaurants in the area. If you want a real treat and lots of good food for your money, go south on Winton Rd for 3 miles and you will see a sign on the left hand side for Angelo's Family Restaurant. The owner is Greek and a personal friend of ours. Their daily specials features a cup of soup (always excellent) plus your entree, a salad, and a choice of vegetable. Be sure and take a look at the dessert tray. It is always tooooooo good. If you stop be sure & tell Angelo & Helen we said "Hi". Also say "Hi" to our favorite waitress, Mary Lou. That gal has a talent for remembering people and orders like few we have seen. Another good restaurant is Reilly's in the Greenhills SC (on Winton North of the park). They have specials daily. Also the usual chain restaurants can be found on Winton Rd near I-275. And if you are a "breakfast person" be sure and check out the First Watch in Tri-County SC on Kemper Rd just west of Rt 747. They have some of the most unusual omelets and crepes I have found. They only stay open until 2:30 p.m. so be sure and get there early. If you are in search of groceries, there is a large Meijer's store on Winton just North of I-275, and a fairly large Kroger store on Winton Rd about 2 miles south of the CG.
