This is a wonderful state park campground. There are 3 loops, one of which has water/electric (Loop B). Loop A is primitive and is in a heavily wooded area. Loops B & C are more out in the open. The sites are huge, with pea gravel pads, a nice fire ring and picnic table. The bath house was very clean, though the shower stalls are very small. There is no playground, so that is something to consider for the kids. But there is abundant hiking, with plenty of deer to watch. The homestead and Stone Mountain itself are enjoyable to see.
