This is a great park with a nice campground. The campground has a state park feel to it. We had water/electric hookup for our stay. We also had a view of the lake through the trees. I guess we were about 50 yards from the lake. The area is hilly. I have read complaints that the sites aren't level. This one wasn't bad. In fact, I don't think we need blocks. There was a concrete picnic table and a fire ring at our site. The showers/restrooms were clean and comfortable. They had a modem hook up at the office. There was a charge for WiFi. The staff was very friendly. The park is great. Not everything was opened when we were there. Too early in the season. None the less we walked around the park and climbed Stone Mtn. Quite a view of Atlanta from there (see pic). We did lots of walking. There were plenty of things to see. We enjoyed our stay. If you have time, drive north of Atlanta to the Kennesaw's Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History. We spent about 4 hours in there. There is room for rv parking too. The locomotive pic below is of the General from the Great Locomotive Chase.
