This park is awesome even in January. We stayed there for 6 days last week and we had a great time. The sunsets were beautiful and the wildlife was abundant. The park presented an interpretive program on Saturday. We rode our bikes and walked the beach and trails. There is a playground and shelters on the bay side. If you like getting away from everything, this is it. There is a couple of convenience stores outside the park but restaurants are 20 miles away in Port St. Joe. Try Peppers Mexican restaurant on Reid Ave. And Paul Gants barbecue near the bridge.
